Advent Children is sort of like that, yes, in the sense that it's a full-length CG Final Fantasy film. I think Advent Children is much better than Spirits Within, though. Basically, it's a sequel to Final Fantasy 7 that takes place a few years after the game ends.
It's very much an action film, it relies a lot on knowledge of FF7, and most of the FF7 party doesn't get a huge role in it. Still, it's worth picking up if you're a fan of the game.

I got Wonderfalls today, heard it was good and found it at Sam's Club for $18. At the price, I couldn't pass it up.
Will and I are borrowing Star Trek: TNG season 1 from my parents. Looking forward to reliving old memories. ^_^

I've made it through the first two discs so far. I can't really say it's like reliving old memories though, I got into TNG about halfway through, so a lot of these early epsiodes are new or very vague to me. I had never seen "Encounter at Far Point" in it's entirety. It's really weird to see how different everyone was before they established their roles firmly, especially Data.
I still say TNG is the best Star Trek ever.

We just finished the first disc, and I'm surprised at how much I remembered. I must have watched these early episodes more than I thought.
I started with TNG from the beginning because my mom loved the original Star Trek. But since then, I think she's changed to Deep Space Nine and Enterprise being her favorites, but then she's a huge Scot Bacula (sp?) fan. She loves Quantam Leap.
But anyways, it is quite interesting to see how raw the actors were back then. It took them at least a year to really get their footing, if I remember.

Buffy Seasons 4-7. The new editions that were released on Tuesday arrived. They have all the features of the old ones but the packaging is slimmed down to make them half the size of the old ones. That means more room on my DVD shelf!

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy A History of Violence.
Will probably watch both when I'm half-way through my Buffy boxed set bonanza. Only eight more eps of S5 to go

Dinosaurs season 1 & 2. "Not the Momma!" "I'm the baby, gotta love me!" hehe... can't wait to watch it, once we're done finishing season 1 of Lost.

The original Planet of the Apes, and the original Matrix.
Working on getting all my VHS tapes for DVD. Thankfully I'm going to start working every saturday at the pickle factory now and it won't take long to replace them.
