Saw Star Wras episodes 1 & 2. Remembered why I didn't remember much about them - only the fighting scenes were any good. I've only seen them once before and since playing Star Wars Lego, I wanted to be more familiar with the story. I can see that the video game has the best of the movies - the fighting.
I would see the third movie, but Will doesn't have it and none of his friends do either. So it may be a while before I get to see it and get it over with.

The first Underworld was basically "Romeo And Juliet", except with Romeo as a werewolf and Juliet as a vampire. The classic love story, except mixed with horror and lots of action. A pretty decent film, all in all. Haven't seen Evolution, mainly because it'd be hard to follow the first one. I'm currently on the fence, given the track record of sequels. I'll consider it, though. And Steve comes to my rescue. ;D Thank you. I feel alot the way you do about sequels. I have seen very few that really measure up to the original and I am very hesitant about seeing a second or third. Shan

The first underworld wasnt great, but ok. It was slow, and the vampires and werewolves felt tacked onto an action film. they didnt diosplay a lot of the characteristics I would ahve liked, mainly the Vamps.
The second film is a lot better, adding more to the history and explaining some things. All in all a better film

Not sure about the second film being better than the first but yes not a bad movie at all, a certainly not to be boxed in the "oh look another money making spin off" section.

first one isn't that great, i think. the 'love' thing is so fake & tacky.
personally i feel that the movie could've been better being mini-series where the story can be developed further. as a movie, it's too action-oriented with very little story though promising premise.

I want to see Underworld and would be interested in seeing the sequel, but only after seeing the first one.
40 year old virgin has been recommended to me. I hope to see it sometime.
I just watched Fantastic Four, which was actually a fun movie. I can see why I wouldn't want to read the comics, but the movie was worth watching once. Ben has to be my favorite character with Johny as second. Reed and Sue just rub me the wrong way.

Reed and Sue just rub me the wrong way. Well, for what's worth they didnt had anything to do at all to the characters in the comic books. Same with the lame interpretation of Dr. Doom.

That's good to know. Doom did seem odd to me. Even from what little I've seen of the character, it didn't feel right. Back to movies I've seen lately, Will and I have been on a movie kick, watching one almost every night last week. We saw: Star Wars Episode 3 - glad it's done with so I can put it behind me. While it was better than the first two, I still think the three movies shouldn't have been done. The original 3 were just fine. the second Zorro move, Legend of Zorro, I think. It was very good. The kid stole the spotlight. Leathel Weapon 2, 3 & 4 - all very good action movies, though the fourth was a bit slower. Sneakers - more suspenseful than I care for, but still good. Next to watch is Brothers Grimm or Just Like Heaven. And tomorrow for Valentine's Day we're going to see Hoodwinked. It looks like fun.

As i believe i have previously stated, Alba was the only reason i bothered watching 4, given the poor quality of comic book to movie adaptations in recent years.
Buti'll take Jessica in just about every way i can. Grrr........

Hoodwinked - very funny! Not quite as good as Shrek, but I can't wait for it to come out on DVD so I can watched it again and catch everything I missed.
Just Like Heaven - turned out to be better than I expected. Quite a sweet romantic movie.
