It's always wise to keep a small home pharmacy with you just in case. And when you feel you have eaten something wrong you need to drink milk. It tears down the poisinous effects from food poisining and makes you vomit, in some cases. I hardly can vomit but it's relieving when you can. Only in a few cases you cannot drink milk, but then it should be said so on the package. Anyway Luce...

Thanks, everyone! I'm actually a lot better now. ;D
Well... maybe not enough to read too much text but I'm now able to eat normal food. Yayy... ;D
@ Gal and Janggut: I don't keep much medication around the house except for some charcoal, cough mixture, panadol tablets and a few other types of medicine.

Charcoal medication...? Übereil Charcoal is a great product to draw poison out of your system. It's used a lot for birds as well, when our birds were ill we always did a cure with charcoal to get them better. The only problem with charcoal is that it also draws out vitamins and minerals. So after a charcoal cure you have to take extra vitamins. Treament with charcoal

Eeek, glad to read you're better; sounds like it wasn't a good time to pass... Culinary disaster story? ;D I hope you found the culprit and won't get such thing anymore. We use the rice/pasta water trick too when doing indigestions or gastros; it at least supplies some nutriments and rice helps to counter diarrhea. We also do a simple home-made pedialyte by adding a little salt and sugar to the water; the salt favors water retention. Food poisoning that bad I never knew closer than by hear-say stories, though.

Just wanted to let you know that the combination of a warm radiator, a desk lamp, some chill technical design exercices and the Dire Straits at your student room is one of the best combinations to make a great chill evening No need for drugs or alcohol, just warmth, dim light, music and something to ease you mind. I should remember that recipe.

The Brothers in Arms album is perfect for it: So far away, Your latest trick, Ride across the river, Brothers in arms. Great songs to relax on.

I prefer Communique. The sound is entirely guitarr based (apart from one or two songs that adds a piano) making it less crowded, which is ideal for chilling. The funky rythms is another nice touch Communique has over Brothers in Arms.
But it doesn't have Why Worry, which is The Chilling Song by Dire Straits (maybe in competition with Follow Me Home)...

I learned yesterday evening/night that some songs by Sting also do the trick.

Just wanted to let you know that this week and the next are very busy ones for me (exams and deadline-limited stuff, nothing bad), so I may not be as active around; will try to keep up as much as possible, though, and I can always be reached if there's anything...
