I've recently (weekend) caused some kind of ... "quarrel".
Two users were accusing one another of insulting the other one.
I wrote a lengthy text as a warning. (In my job as a mod there.)
I have never been deeper mis-understood in my whole life. I'm very sure.
I used the wrong words, it seems, and I jokingly used the expression that people who tease one another also like one another.
I'm not quite sure, but I think this was the formulation which made one of both EXTREMELY jumpy.
Now, this person is actually quite angry at me. The other one went into hiding.
I think I'm incompetent in some fields. *sigh*

Everyone messes up sometimes, Alrik. Best thing you can do there is to make a new post explaining what you actually meant and apologising for any offence.
Modding is a fine art and everyone (And I do mean EVERYONE) messes up a bit sometimes.
On the bright side, you certainly stopped them arguing ;D

yep, that's the bright side, Al. u stopped them somehow.  takes time to learn to mod. we've been very fortunate here as we hardly require to exercise our mod responsibilities as CC members are generally cool-headed people. maybe next time, u can avoid jokes though i sense that u're trying to kill the tension with them. all in all, u did great. *thumbs up* |

Eeeeh I'm having my Mechanics exam within two hours. The first time in my whole life that I'm feeling a bit of exam stress...quit weird ^^
