Follow, Follow By Fireside I really like this band. Why is it that almost every band I like a whole lot is always an import? www.crankthis.com/fireside.htmlTsel

Carry Your Cross and I'll Carry Mine By Tiamat Boy, do I love this band. Another Import, but at least they have a US distribution. jang > Yeah, I know. It gets depressing when you have to fork out double what you'd normally pay for a CD. Tsel

listening to the whole of Macross Plus OST 2, obviously by Yoko Kanno.
@ Tsel -> as if that's bad enough, i have to beg for the shop to import (as u know they normally bring in by bulk) something that apparently only i listen to. really tough to have unique/weird taste in music.

I know what you mean. I've always had an ear for European music over American music. Specifically, German, Danish, Swiss, or Norse, especially Norse since it has a flowing sound liken that of an Icewind Dale frozen winter. Divided (Prey album) By Tiamat Tsel

Gal, I didn't know you liked Loreena McKennitt? What is your favorite song of hers? I love her Lady of Shalott and All Souls Night. Shan

Hard to tell actually, I have about three cd's of her, so you might say I like most of her songs. But I used Dante's Prayer on my homepage, and All Souls Night is also very nice, she just has the voice of a celtic angel, it gives me the shivers down my spine.

honestly speaking, i have always thought Loreena McKennitt is a country singer (well her name sounds like one!) but after reading Gal's post, i think i should check out her music. it might be something i like.

I found this great cd in our library today. Epica with 'Consign to Oblivion' a bit Gothic but still more new age, my kind of music.
@ Janggut You must have Loreena Mc Kennit in your collection, she is one of the best voices ever!
