The Sisterhood - Gift. Been trying to download it for months (no one was seeding, and I lacked 96 kb for the full download...), and yesterday finally it was down ;D. Übereil PS Tell me how to buy an independentrecord from 1986, by a band which existed only for this record, without working my ass of and I'll do it .

aenima is the first that i listen to, after a friend recommended Tool to me. then came lateralus, which i feel is better as an album than aenima, though aenima has a lot of powerful songs that stand well on their own. 10k days seems less powerful & more a derivative of the previous albums (disregarding the last album which are mostly cover versions). but one good thing i notice is that 10k days feels more ambient now & i like that. do u follow Maynard's side project as well? Perfect Circle is great too!

yes I like maynards way of expressing so I pretty much love all of his work with each thing he does. I have been awakened to so many things with both aenima an lateralus. though I was listening to aenima for a long time before lateralus came out. Do you follow what the songs are about as far interprative metaphore like 46&2- H- Eulogy-Third Eye? I also am enjoying 10k days for it's strange kind of ambiance
Do you get into the connected nature ?

well as far as i can tell, i don't do much interpretation, riverman. ;D i haven't got into the lyrics, if that is what u mean. but from what i can catch here & there as i listen, it's not typical i-hate-you-everyone kind of rock & it begs thinking. what i really like about Tool & also Perfect Circle is the styles of music which may sound rock but more ambient in play. the name titles are really cryptic yet it may be that Maynard is goofing around with them as he's not the straight-laced kind to just name songs as they are, i htink. i might look up the net to find their lyrics

jang , wow if you get into some of the philosophies/theories that come out of Tool's music it's staggering here's a link to the opinion board ...it can get really deep ,in fact in some cases it can be dangerous. toolnavy.com/index.php

People can take it all too seriously , there really is allot of "hidden" messages and occult connections to Ailister Crowley and sacred geometry evoulution of ideas , spirituality . Kundalini awakening Jungian psychology and much more Let 's just say that it can give some people a messiah complex
