But... where's Depeche Mode? And Cure? And Dire Straits? And The Sisters of Mercy? And Devo? And... all the other GOOD 80's bands? Übereil Where they are? Probably somewhere on youtube. I didn't listen to them because this was just a quck tour of some of my fave 80ies ballads. And I am not really a fan of any of the bands you mentioned - though I might like Sister of Mercy - not sure. Anyway, You tried to get me into Devo a few nights ago and didn't succeed, remember?

New Life by Depeche Mode. From their first album, Speak and Spell, where most songs were written by Vincent Clarke (who left the band after the first album). Got a more naive and poppy sound than their later albums, enchanted by their use of early analog synths only. I find Speak and Spell cure! ;D
Now 'I Wish you were Dead' started. Despite the title (have no idea what Vincent was thinking...) it's really cute too! ;D

Cinema Show with Genesis. For the moment it's good, when the finnishing five minute analog synth solo starts it will be fabulous, great, fantastic etc. Übereil

Habanera from Carmen G. Bizet sung by Filippa Giordano on the CD, entitled Filippa Giordano.
Absolutely perfect beautiful voice. Incredible!
