Beckham was really nervous. I don't think he's used to being singled out by a crowd that large. And they kept cheering him

The Who are really fantastic, I agree. You'd think they were in their prime, the way they're playing. Great stuff

Oh dear.... Faithless are dreadful. Time to turn the sound off and wait for Pink Floyd, I think. Or someone who can sing...

that was [Censored]ing AMAZING...!!!
Robbie's incredible. It's incredible he loved playing and the audience loved him. He's unique and even in this storm of stars he stood out.
Definetly the best performance of the evening..

A bit of a round up so far.
I loved Robbie's performance and think that Madonna or Linkin's the second best...
BEP was definetly one of the worsts of the evening. Dradfully embarrasing, imo.

I completely agree, Peter. Talk about taking the world by storm! i think the three people on the planet who had never heard of him know his name now

I'd say Robbie, Joss, Madonna. But that is a very close gap on the last two. ...I think that's Bryan Ferry (Playing now) in Berlin. Cool

I completely agree, Peter. Talk about taking the world by storm! i think the three people on the planet who had never heard of him know his name now Heh, those US citizens who aren't convinced should be. This is by far the biggest scene ever in music history and those who don't know Robbie, will. Even though he's the biggest star in Europe I think he'll be the breakout star for those who don't know him.

Pink Floyd! First time in 24 years! Darn this rocks! By the time I got seriously interested in musc, they'd split... But... Dark Side Of The Moon is one of the all time classic albums

I think you are right, Peter Aren't I always? ;D heh, looking forward to Pink Floyd...if I do get to see them. Has promised to go play some darts soon and someone in the neighborhood is playing loud trance so I have this seriously irritating bass sound here:(
