Comfortably numb. Told about my relation to that song in the "what's music to you". Don't have to tell you how incredible this is...

Not that Philly can - or will - stand to London. But it'll be cool Yep, it is...but London was definetly tops. I find it pretty amazing that a guy like Geldoff who'se musical legend isn't a stand out, afaik anyways, can arrange stuff like this. This is his legacy in music history.

And so it ended over here. A wonderful concert, an incredible event...one to go down in history ! Really, when you think about the scope of this event, all the work and people involved it's already the biggest live tv event in history and let's hope it will at least spark some discussions with the G8 leaders. Certainly given the number of people involving themselves just by signing the list I'll say the concert is already a giant success.

Completely agree with that Relying on my memory, I think the highs of Live Aid were higher... But the lows were lower. Overall, the two shows are pretty much on par. Unbelievable achievement for Geldoff. Pulling it off once was impossible. Twice... Wow!

El, my friend, it's times like these were reminded just why we love music so damn much and how big a part it is of our lifes. Pink Floyd was probably the highlight for me tonight followeed by Robbie. They were in a class by themselves though I love those sing alongs like Hey Jude at the end

Heh. Philly's gonna see a LOT more use of the mute button, I can already tell ;D Well shows over here. We didn't get the whole London concert but got the best from London, Philly with a bit of Berlin, Paris and Rome as a tasteful dessert. I think we saw the Johannesburg concert once or so. Edit: we saw Celine Dion in Canada I think. Didn't have any interest in that whatsoever.
