Yeah! Lets move Ubs, but you will have to stay on your side of the house ok? ;D As long as it is the same side as the computer is at, and you bring me food regullary I'm fine with that. ;D Übereil We can bring both our computers with us, or we would die without it, and about the food, how about we set up our desks in the storage room of the house? The toilet not too far away, fridge in handreach and the food brought to us by the lady of the house ;D Sounds great doesn't it?

My sister had caught a severe flu. I do hope I won't get it, too. Today was the first really sunny day since several days. No wonder why : It's the first day of the high time of German carnival !

The intro song in the last website reminded me of that from Fantasialand. ;D Germans have neat fests... Will you disguise yourself too, Alrik? Oh, and do some Carnival pics for us... ?

lol ;D , sorry, but I won't disguise myself. I'm not the kind of person for that. Actually, I don't like the festivities and especially the masses of people that much. I rather like the artistic thing in it. On some days, here are long ... parades with lots of disguised/costumed people and cars which are outfitted to presend big, satirical scenes. These are made out of different things. Most painted paperwork, I mean really *thick* paper. Tomorrow is such a day here in my home town, but the biggest day for that is what we call the "Rosenmontag", the "Rose Monday". I don't know where the word actually comes from. Tomorrow, however, I'll not be able to witness the parade here, because I'm in Cologne, meeting people.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, no middle ground ever. lol ;D , sorry, but I won't disguise myself. I'm not the kind of person for that. Hey, it's cool for the disguisements and crowds/bursting festivities. I like and find them interesting, but at moderate doses myself. I think I know the kind of paperwork you mean... Papier mâché? Anyway, I hope you had a good day in Cologne. Thanks for the Aalst link, Ky; it's cool and was worth a good laugh at times. What is that carnival about?

Aw, crap!! As expected the snow arrives in late February. We've had about 10 inches snow from yesterday till now and can expect 10 inches more tonight. Might not be much compared to where some of you live but I still hate it!

All our snow is now flash-melting in a temp jump, and we got uber fog! Its as if nature doesn't want me getting around on Wednesdays. (last Wednesday we had a crazy snowstorm+drifts all over the roads). Man, the weather is really messed up (needless to say ). Hot, cold, hot, cold, hot, cold, etc, etc, ETC! Enough! Just freeze me or breeze me for goodness sake! ... Weather was nice yesterday though, but thats what brought on the fog... can't win. Killerzzz

Damn.
Seen the snow reports on tv. Half the country is buried in snow while the other half has rain but no snow. The weather acts like it wants too.
The trains from Frederikshavn (50 km from me) were unable to drive today because there were 3 meters of snow and in my city the biggest concert/sports arena, Gigantium had part of it's roof crash down due to pressure of several tons of snow.
Luckily I live pretty central in the city so I can get out. I know people from farther out and they're snowed in. There's no busses, trains are very sporadic, if not cancelled alltogether (status changes all the time). We're warned to drive alltogether and it's slated to snow massively again tomorrow - right now the snowed has stopped a bit.
