Larian have just updated their site, and are telling us to "Get ready for something cool." Lynn says in a forum post that we'll soon get a look at what they've been working on... Should be good

Looks a bit ... menacing ... Although argueing from from the faint smile of the head it might not be meant so ...

Thanks, Alrik I completely overlooked Lar's comments, as he only posted them in the German section. Not speaking German myself, I don't tend to venture in there.

That's completely understandable.

Well, that doesn't say a hell of a lot we didn't basically know already...

Well, you're in the right place, Hildor... Good luck if you go for it!

Hehe I didn't meant to do it. I probably won't have any time for that and I would still be a drive of an hour and a half to get there (so 3 hours a day).
And being a game tester probably isn't as great as it seams. You have to repeat boring stuff all over again, finding mistakes and reporting them. You're not playing a game, you're testing a program full of bugs and mistakes that has to become a game. That still could be a cool job, because you would achieve something in the end. But it would absolutely ruin the fun for Divinity 2 for me. I read on a Guild Wars forum that one of the beta-testers (it was an open beta-test) was dissapointed with being a beta-tester. Because he now sees every mistake that was reported at the beta, but left unfixed at the release of the game...

Would be interesting to play test one or two games, I think. But after that would be rather boring.

Yeah I tried testing an indie game before and it was boring as hell... We'd to keep redoing the sequences like walking and other things... and it was soo time-consuming.

Sounds great and looks great! Perspective looks a bit odd, though. I hope we won't be stuck in first person like those annoying Elder Scrolls games.

Lar says it's third person. Panic over! ;D

Ooh... I have renewed interest. Please don't let them stuff this up like Beyond Divinity.
