Allthough, Larian referrs to it as their new RPG... Which implies that Divinity was no RPG ?

I meant that they don't SAY DD2, they just say "our new RPG".

Very nice.
Did we already have a Divine Divinity 2 thread going already, some time ago?

i believe Larians have done things a bit differently this time from their previous two games. i think they muist have worked quietly building the game engine, then later on think about how to make a game out of it. so maybe, just maybe it can be RPG, or adventure, or i don't know.
in any case, the screenie looks gorgeous & now my fear is confirmed - i need a whole lot of money to get me a bloody new PC!

Your not the only one who needs a new PC! If it was DD2 Im guessing there is a swamp like area which houses wood elves..or I half expect Larian to invent a new race.

Lar or Wazzz at the Larian forum said that the inhabitants were a "far weirder race", and that they were fantasy, but not common [at all, as I personally would add as how it sounded to me].

Here in Germany, an Golden Divinity Pack has been released : It combines both Divinity & Beyond Divinity for almost 13 Euros. Interesting that both Ubi and CDV made this deal.

Just seeing it makes me want to play it and walk through that area. Since Larian never has referred to the new game as DD2, it makes me wonder if it will be associated with DD in any way. They could make a completely new one. Whatever, I hope it will be an RPG. OK, Jags and Tragic, make that a threesome of us that need a new PC.

I still haven't played Beyond Divinity because of Starforce. Once I get a new PC, I may install it on the old one and give it a try. That way Starforce won't be on my regular use Winbox. Do any of you know what the copy protection will be on the new game yet? I am hoping no Starforce.
