My initial impression: we've got a good one here.

My initial impression: It has potential
I liked it enough but I don't care for Lena Heady as Sarah Connors nor Thomas Dekker as John Connor. Neither of them had the presence of their forebeaers and that was going to be a tough sell for me.
Best part of the episode was Summer Glau as Cameron. She has the presence but also the beauty and grace. She also managed to give a sense of innocence despite being a killer robot.
The action sequences were also pretty nice and it makes me want to see the next ep. I'll give the series 2 or 3 more eps before I decide whether it's worth watching or not.

Terminator so far is okay. There's promise here, but I'd really need to see more. What really intrigues me the most so far is the notion that the war between Skynet and the Resistance has gotten wider than anyone thought. I just like the idea of time being a battlefield now, and you never know if anyone John and Sarah might meet is a Resistance agent or a Terminator. It makes the series complex enough that the story might progress beyond T2 and into new territory. I get the sense the creators have a fair handle on what Cameron was saying, but without being too attached to it. Agreed on the cast... Summer Glau is good (love the name Cameron-- heh ), the others are passable but not as good as past actors. Though admittedly Linda Hamilton defined that role, so anyone would have a hard time taking over. I dunno yet... we'll see how the premiere ends.

What the h***? No way that this will be a success right? Sounds like a cheap way of reviving the original Terminator. Definitly not gonna like this. Terminator 1 nailed it, cuz it was new, special effects for that time were brilliant and the sequels did a good job. But a tv serie of this? Not even with Arnold or Linda in it?

Sarah Connor is Linda Hamilton's character from the first two Terminator movies and mother to John Connor.
Anyhow the second episode was better than the first, not terribly better but I think this series will only grow in quality as it goes on.

This is Summer Glau. She does a great job. How could the show not be good. As far as Lena Heady as Sarah Connors andThomas Dekker as John Connor -- I remember when Sean Connery stopped doing James Bond -- the Bond movies continued to be hits. I enjoyed that scene from tonight's show where Summer's head goes through a car windshield, and she says to the occupants, "Stay calm" as she gets up from the hood of the car.

Good episode. I really liked the development of the characters this episode, and it had quite a few good jokes.

First one is quite solid. I like the cast, and I'll be giving the rest a look.
Not brilliant - but promising.

I really liked this week's ep. John finally grew some balls and the Terminator subplot continued. I wonder what the signifigcance of John's hand shaking was though?

I've seen the first three, now. This is kinda scary - me, watching TV programs! But I do like it...

Believe me it starts out with one show and then continues to more shows and soon you're sitting on your butt all day skipping class, work and everything just to get your TV fix ;D

LOL
Right now I'm on Torchwood, this & Little Mosque On The Prairie assuming a new season comes along.
Fortunately, Dr Who threw itself off my radar, else I'd be really worried! ;D

Today's episode was good. I think the shaking of his hand indicated that he was shook up by the experience, and not so cool and collected that he could simply do homework after that adventure.

True. There are rumblings though that the strike will be over this week but we'll see...

Fourth ep is good. It's nice to see John start to assert himself. I'm really starting to like the FBI agent guy, too. Be interesting to see what happens when he starts discovering the truth...
