Interview with Josh FriedmanI like what this guy was saying. The last few weeks have truly been instant classics in my opinion. Even Buffy and Angel didn't keep me glued to the TV like Terminator does.

Yeah, good interview. Must be hard for the poor guy to keep being hung out like that - not knowing if he'll get to make more shows.
Hopefully the new film will spark more interest in the show.

I was very surprised by the possibly series finale of Terminator.
We were right about Catherine Weaver creating John Henry to stop Skynet.
I hope that the series gets a third one to reveal what happened to Cameron Henry, John, and Sarah.
Overall though it feels like a fitting ending to the series while leaving it open to another.

Wow! What an insanely good ending!
That's Alison at the end, isn't it?
There MUST be more to come!

As we all probably know T:SCC has been cancelled here is a nice article about the best aspects of the series: A T:SCC retrospective

Good article. Thanks, SPS A sad moment, though, as we mourn the end of a truly great show...

What might of beenJust a brief quote but still, good to read something about this show. Also as of this post I have turned the thread into an appreciation thread, and if I have anything to say about it, it will be permanently stickied

I started watching the first season again last night.
I am amazed at how even the first half an hour of the first episode is better than the last two films combined.

I know, I know. It is a sad day indeed Kon.
Though here is the real kick to the balls. Dollhouse was renewed! Dollhouse sucked so badly that I almost stopped watching it. Me who is one of the "Whedon is god" fans.
Funny thing is, when I switched stations to watch Heroes, Terminator made it look 5 times worse. Multiply that by 50 and you have how bad it made Dollhouse look.

What the h***? No way that this will be a success right? Sounds like a cheap way of reviving the original Terminator. Definitly not gonna like this. Terminator 1 nailed it, cuz it was new, special effects for that time were brilliant and the sequels did a good job. But a tv serie of this? Not even with Arnold or Linda in it? Wise words.

The reason why T:SCC was so good was because it tried to be it's own thing, and succeded by creating characters that were as interesting as Arnold and Linda's version of Sarah Connor. Yeah the character of Sarah Connor had to be softened a bit to carry the show but it worked out in the end. In fact I have a new respect for Sarah Connor because of this show.

Indeed. the creators managed to stay true to the original story while expanding on it as was of course necessary to make it into a successful TV series.
