Currently reading "When All Seems Lost" by William C. Dietz. Interesting space war novel. Very organized in the way its of different parts of the military and war politics of different races and sides. Related to his other book I've read: "For Those Who Fell", also good. Killerzzz

The writing is okay, though and I got distracted before I could finish chapter 2. Who's Lord Peter Wimsey? Doesn't matter, really People having fun with no rule breaking? Yes? Then all is cool My good man, Elliot. *thumps him on the back* Nothing like a mate who knows how to have fun. ;D

I'm reading the Albert Speer biography by Joachim Fest.
Been looking to read it for some time and finally borrowed it at the library. I also got The faces of the Third Reich by Fest and the biography of Traudl Junge (Hitler's secretary). They're next in line ;D

Wow, do you actually like those "caveman Mary Sue Barbie and Ken whose girth no woman but Ayla can take porn in Stone Age!" books? When are you going to learn that you don't have to tear someone elses opinion about something down? If I wanted to buy the books just for the love scenes, i would be spending way too much for a porn book. I don't judge you for what you read, so stop doing that with others ok?
@ Lews, thx hun, but you don't have to do this, I don't want you to get in trouble ok?

When are you going to learn that you don't have to tear someone elses opinion about something down? Do you understand the difference between someone stating their negative opinion of something you like, and someone "tearing your opinion down"? Do you consider every opinion that doesn't agree with yours an attack on your person? Funnily enough, I'd say that I was judging the books, which are utter drivel bloated with Auel disguising her research notes as "prose" and cut-and-paste sex scenes repeated ad nauseum, featuring a woman who discovers everything ever and a personality-void man whose one defining trait is the size of his implement. Hah!

OK, your argument can be split into two parts: 1: Jean M. Auel's booka are "caveman Mary Sue Barbie and Ken whose girth no woman but Ayla can take porn in Stone Age!". 2: Wow, do you actually like those books? In number one you give a rather colourfull description of what you think of Jean M. Auel's books, and in the second you question Gal for likeing them. In other words, you don't only state your opinion about the books, you claim that Gal's view of the book is wrong since they differ from yours. So, you weren't so much stateing your negative opinion as you were tearing Gal's opinion down. And this is the way it is wether it was your intent or not. If it wasn't your intent, think of how you put it and how you can put it differently to make your intent more clear. And if you don't see why you should do this, the think of the fact that all three pepole who's responded to your post so far thought it was a tad bit too offensive for their likeing. Übereil
