Sarah I feel the same way Sarah. I have problems staying focused on what is going on with all the panels without any words (all the faces and all the fight scenes). I know he is trying to at suspense and action, but when there is so much of it I get lost. Then I find myself trying to skim over those just so I can keep up with the story and then I'm not sure if I've missed something or not.Shan

Shan, well, you won't have to worry about that anymore the rest of the series. Because: spoiler: No more tournaments to the point where I'm reading. So, no more 100 characters all in the same place. Cool commentary on Gaara.

Eh eh, you really understood Gaara Shan, and your reaction to him was the same I had when I was at the same point you're now in the story.
I would like to know what you think about the Third Hokage too, if it doesn't bother you. I really, really like him.
P.S. I think the way Naruto talked and acted at the end of the story arc you just finished to read was really thouching, after these chapters I started to like him even more than before. Do you agree? ^^

the 3rd Hokage reminds me a lot of Ghost In The Shell's Section 9 Chief Aramaki. very deep sense of justice & responsibility.

Do you agree? ^^ Sariachan I have liked Naruto from chapter 3 on. I guess you could say I kinda fell in love with him during that chapter. The more I read about him the more I like him. So yes, I agree with you. I was very touched by this story and by Naruto's actions. I think he did alot of growing up and even began to understand himself better. Let me go back and look at a few things about the Third Hokage and then I will give you my opinion of him. I want to make sure I understood some things right first. I find it interesting that we felt the same way about Gaara. Shan

the 3rd Hokage reminds me a lot of Ghost In The Shell's Section 9 Chief Aramaki. very deep sense of justice & responsibility. I didn't think about that, but you're right! But Sarutobi's Will of Fire is something more than sense of justice and responsability, imho. ^^ P.S. I can't wait to read what do you think of him, Shantara! And about Naruto, he could be the character whose personality I like the most in ALL manga I read...and I read lots of them, believe me. ;D I love his energy, caring heart, loquacity, strong will and endless tenacy. Naruto is the nicest character ever made!

While I liked the Third Hokage I'm not so sure he was THAT fascinating.
He was just a good leader who did a lot of good things for the village. I do find it interesting how he evolved from an old man in the twilight of his life to something more than that, though.

Sariachan It has been a while I know, and I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back around to your question of what I think of the 3rd hokage. Spoiler:First off I did not realize he was a powerful as he was.
I see him as a man with high values, one who has a temendous love and commitment to his village. He was will to do anything to try to protect it and the people living there. He was like a father protecting his children from harm even to giving his life for them. He was truly devoted to serving his village to the best of his ability.
I see him as a great man, but not all that outstanding of a character in the series. One that is extremely good for the part he had in the story, but not a character that i would go back and think of time and time again. What did you like so much about him and why do you think he was such a great character? Maybe I missed soemthing about him that you saw. Shan

Shan Thanks for your reply shantara, and don't worry you take all this time to do it since I hadn't much free time lately, either. Spoiler: Well, I like the Third Hokage so much because he comes really close to my ideal of a leader. Maybe I'm a bit naive, but I really would like to live in a Country leaded by a men (or woman) like him. Furthermore I quite like old characters...my grandfather (my mother's father) died some months ago, and I really have good memories of him. But he wasn't like Sarutobi, if you're wondering... Well, he also was a bit perverted (in a funny way as only old people can be) and full of energy. Awww...I miss him. But he lived more than 85 years, he sure had a long and full life.

Chapter 273 rocked =D
Edit: By the way if anybody wants more Naruto, it'll take more time for me to send them now, because all my "forwards" have disappeared in my "send box," so I can't forward them anymore. That means I would have to do whole new e-mails with the attachments, which will take longer to send.
Also, right is not a good time for me to do that, because my computer is running low on memory. I'll be able to get it running better in early September but until then I can't. Shan, Janggut, or Steve might be able to help out though, since they have all the chapters I did. Probably take them less uploading time than me, too.

Phil, if anyone wants the chapters that you sent me, I still have all the emails they were attached to, so it would be easy enough for me to forward them on to them. Shan

Spoiler:Right now I am reading chapter 148. Jiraiya has me wondering more about him. Naruto seems to be in trouble as always because it seems that Sasuke's brother and his friend want him for some reason.
I am still trying to figure out what these lines mean. They were spoken by Sasuke's brother.
My body must be rested at the same place for a while.... Not to mention until Tsukuyomi.... Becomes the Amaterasu we should not use it....
I know that Tsukuyomi means moon And Amaterasu means sun
That still doesn't help me understand what he is talking about though. Maybe it will be explained later.
I aslo found the first meeting that Sasuke has with his brother after so long kinda interesting.
His brother must be a walking killer. Kakashi seemed to have trouble with him too. Seems like it is going to be another good story. Shan

I know that Tsukuyomi means moon And Amaterasu means sun One of the most enduring mysteries of the series. People are still making theories about it. It was really cryptic, huh?
