Hey guys, just thought I'd go ahead and make a dedicated thread to the NBA instead of having our discussions spread out over 3 or 4 threads. If this ever gets busy enough, we'll go back to the weekly format.
Of course, if you feel so inclined to make a thread about something specific, don't let me stop you.
Anyway, what a game by my main man, Ben Jordan today. I mean Ben Gordon. 48 points, leading us back down 18 today in the fourth quarter against the Bucks. We need every win we can get right now, only 1.5 games separates the 2nd to 5th seed.

Pretty significant injury news today, Dwayne Wade has decided to rehab his shoulder and try to play this year!

Of course I don't know how bad the injury is. But if he in fact sustained a complete dislocation, I think he is better off getting the surgery and then doing the rehab.

And the Spurs win again, beating the LA Clippers.

It's pretty bad, but his best shot to win a title is still with Shaq, so I think he wants to go for as many rings as he can before Shaq retires. We'll see if he can do it, he has a serious injury.

Rehab will never duplicate what surgery can do. There will always be a danger of recurrent dislocations.

Yes, it is a risk that he'll have future injuries from it, but at the same time chances are Dwayne Wade will never have such a talented group of players around him.
I'd go for it too.

Phoenix plays Dallas next week. That should be a good game, and I wonder who will win.

12th straight win this evening for the Spurs.

117-100 Dallas loses to the Warriors and their winning streak is broken. Apparently the Warriors have beaten Dallas the last 4 out of 5 games. Now, the Warriors could grab the 8th seed in the playoffs which would put them opposite Dallas in the 1st round. Ha! Wouldn't that be an upset if Dallas lost in the 1st round of the playoffs!

Heh, no way is Dallas going to lose in the first round of the playoffs, they're the best team in the NBA still.

Let's see if they beat Phoenix tonight.

Dallas is playing Phoenix tonight and it's not on tv? I swear, the NBA keeps too many of their best games off television!

I sure didn't! I only saw the first quarter... a good friend of mine is down for Spring Break and it was probably the only time I would get to see her, so I left.
Ugh, I missed what will probably be the best game of the year in the NBA, that sucks!
In other news, with the loss, my Bulls will still have the best record of all time for one season, which I'm happy about. We've also won 7 of 8, we're pretty hot right now.

Yay! me. In a previous post, you mentioned your Bulls. Are they a Florida team too? I remember your football team, the Dolphins, were.
