Hmm. It is not looking good for The Bulls. That game wasn't even close.

Too bad for Phoenix. And Nash got mutilated. yikes. I really hope they come through against SA.

Too bad for Phoenix. And Nash got mutilated. yikes. I really hope they come through against SA. This means war! The Spurs are THE most consistent team in the NBA. They demonstrated today that they can handle a 100+ point game as easily as they do a game where they limit their opponents to a low scoring game. Ginobili didn't do much. When he explodes they will be even more impressive. And I too hope that Nash is ok. He and Parker both had great games.

Meh, it was just game one for us, I'm not too stressed out. Ask me how I feel Monday Night.

Looks like we're pretty content to just take it, without the lube.

So, who will you root for when the Bulls go down?

No one, I don't play second favorites.
Let me say, I am throughly embarrassed to call myself a Bulls fan. This has been one of the most horrendous post season performances I've ever seen any of my teams do. I just. I can't even put it into words.
Game 4 just seems like a formality really. I mean, sure we might win and stave off elimination for one game, but this won't go past 5 I'm sure of it. But I guess you can never say never, someone has to come back 0-3 eventually right? I don't think it'll be us though.

Questions of the day
Did Dirk deserve MVP? Even though his playoff performance was awful, MVP is for the regular season.
Did Bowen intentionally kick Amare?
Will the Spurs win in 5?
Will we get to see Spurs vs. Golden State? GS sure are fun to watch.

First, AK47 got posterized so bad, they should make 2 posters from different angles about it.
1. In my mind Nash was still the MVP, but I can't argue with Dirk either.
2. I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me, honestly.
3. No way in hell.
4. I don't think so.

Well, amazingly enough, we decided to get up off the mat, and for one game at least show we have some pride and interest in winning. Sadly, I think we earned a stay of execution at best. I'm not saying we can't win again and take it back to Chicago, but damn, we're going to really have to play well like we did again. Even still, no NBA team has ever come back down 3-0. Of course no MLB team had done that either until a few years ago. Obviously it CAN happen, and at some point it WILL happen, but I just don't think it'll be us, but who knows. Sucky enough, it's on Tuesday night, and I have a game Tuesday night, which means I will miss most of what could be our last game of the year.

I have stopped watching the Bulls-Pistons. Perhaps I missed a good game.
Unfortunately GS lost tonight. They have already made basketball history, so there is some small hope.

I saw the 4th quarter of Bulls-Pistons. Apparently the Bulls still have some hope. I have to say though, that both teams didn't look too great to me. Lazy passes for instance. Should the Bulls somehow make it to the Finals, the Spurs or Suns will mop the floor with them.

IT'S NOT OVER YET!!!
Where the hell was this the first two games of this series? We played fantastic tonight! I can't say enough about our defense, and I love how we really took the ball to the basket on offense. We forced Detroit to match our style of play instead of the other way around for once.
Ben Gordon finally really showed up, and played to the best of his ability. Ben Wallace didn't get many stats, but he still played pretty well overall.
I'm not scared to say it. I say we're going to win Thursday and force game 7.

I don't know how San Antonio is going to mop the floor with anyone, they're more interested in a pro wrestling match apparently than basketball. And the fourth quarter wasn't indicative of the game or the series so far....

And the fourth quarter wasn't indicative of the game or the series so far.... I was really disappointed by Robert Horry's move. However, that is not typical of San Antonio, and the quality of their basketball and that of the Suns is superior to the Bulls or any team in the East.

People shouldn't under estimate Detroit, they're good enough to beat any team in the league. And the Suns defensive weakness can never make them a true lock against anyone.

no Amare tonight. Nash is going to have to be HUGE to pull this one out. Such a stupid move for them to jump on to the court like that. yah Horry was a moron first, but you have to stay on the bench. and in the press conference he said he was on his way to the scorer's table when it all happened. nice try Amare, but no. tough game 5

That was a fun game to watch; I just love it when my team comes back from behind. With the Spurs 3-2 I'd like to see them close it on Friday, but, alas, I will be out on Friday night and I have no DVR.
