Here's what I plan on reading for the week of May 9th - 15th:

As for my list, I did read all of the Rurouni Kenshin volumes as well as Legend of Chun Hyang, Neotopia vol 3 and Comic Party vol 3 (Tokyopop).

For the rest of this week, I want to catch up on all the Digital Webbing Presents that have been piling up. Not sure of the issue numbers, but I have at least 8 issues.

If I get those done, I'll read Comic Party vol 4 (Tokyopop) and if I'm not tired of the concepts, I'll read Comic Party vol 3 (CPM). And that will conclude both Comic Party series.

Thanks for starting this thread Shark, it's helping me too. Maybe once I get caught up on the above stuff, I'll get to Usagi Yojimbo vol 2 through 4 and all those ElfQuest trades I have. I think there's a few Sandman trades I haven't read, spin-off stuff.

This is what I got read last week:
Digital Webbing Presents (about 8 issues)
Comic Party vol 4 from Tokyopop
Twilight X vol 4
Usagi Yojimbo vol 2 and 3

I was a little upset to see that there's another volume of comic party, though there's no info on TP's website. I was expecting a conclusion!

I decided to go ahead and read Usagi since I was in the mood for it. Wish I had more volumes, but I only have the 4th one. I knew it was gonna be good, but I didn't know it was gonna be this dang good! Now I have another title competing to be the next bought. I have 3 different series all at the top of my list to buy next. Usagi just jumped up to be the 4th.

I think I'll save vol 4 to savor later, maybe when I get closer to being able to buy the next volume.

This week I'm planning on reading:
Comic Party vol 3 from CPM - it'd better be the end
Twilight X vol 4 and some single issues after it
Bone the One volume!

Now I don't expect to get through all of Bone, but I'm finally gonna start on it. The size of it has just detered me from starting. The same goes for Blankets. I may alternate between Bone and Blankets for the next couple of weeks.

I didn't get everything I wanted to read but I got all the Young Justice, Marvel Team Up and Judge Dredd done.

I gotta say, Denny O'Neil on Iron Man is great at the moment.

Not much time last week. Only started on Comic Party vol 3 and Bone. But I did read the two new comics I got - Conan 16 and Dawn Sketchbook.

This week doesn't look like I'll have much time, so I'll just continue on Comic Party vol 3 and Bone.

Almost forgot about this thread. Guess that means I haven't been too motivated lately.

But I am pretty much caught up on all the manga I have. Only vol 5 of Dark Angel left, but can't read that till I buy 2 thru 4, which I can't do since I'm low on funds right now.

I've been pretty well keeping up on new comics, though I still have Digital Webbing Presents 22 and 23 to read.

Hopefully within the next few weeks I'll be getting the 2000 AD progs I've been missing and I'll be able to tackle the stack I have that goes back to 1420. There are older runs that I haven't read, but I was at least trying to keep up with the current progs. But not getting Prog 2005 stopped me and then I missed 1428 and 1431 (I think) so I really didn't want to continue on.

So my goal for this week is to read DWP 22 and 23 and ElfQuest Wavedancers #1-6. Then next week should be 2000 AD week!

Well, last week I did read Wavedancers, but not DWP 22 & 23. No 2000 AD yet, but I did get a lot of comics this week. So my goal this week is to read:

Some of us have way too much on our plates so that we don't have room for reading comics.

As it is, I haven't been able to read any of the comics on my list for this week. But then I am studying hard to pass my test on Monday and doing a lot of wedding stuff. 99 days to go! Boy, do I hate the wedding resource website I'm using. It keeps track of how many days left to go...

I tried to read as many comics as possible yesterday, but I spent most of the day putting up my new vinyl fence on my backyard..... I think I should've just hired a bunch of Mexicans to do it! -SHARK DIGGLER

All of Human Target by Peter Milligan. Re-reading all of it.

Shark have you read Skreemer by Milligan yet? If not, put it on the list. I could have sworn I remembered a different story from the time I had just read a few pages of it before, but yes, very good, you'd love it.

Also against the seeming online grain, I rather liked X-Men #172. Bit like the telepathic-sex stuff from New X-Men, with the added bonus of no ambiguity like there was with Scott Summers: you just know Gambit is going to give in. Larocca wasn't that good sadly. Sometimes he has this amazing Pacheco like style/influence coming through and other times he's just plain generic. Could it be his speed that's bring him down or holding him back?

I think I might have a few issues of Skreemer somewhere, but I haven't read them yet. How many issues was it? It's something that I want to read, for sure.

You know, I gave up on Milligan's X-Men, Golgotha was [Censored]ing painful to read. Hard to believe Milligan can write great stuff like X-Statix and Human Target, then write crap like that. I have been hearing that his second arc is better. Might have to check it out when it's all said and done. And yeah, I don't like Larocca. -SHARK DIGGLER

Well, I've decided I'm gonna just post what I read daily instead of once a week. I think that might keep me a little more motivated. This is what I read today, July 7th:

Stray Bullets 1-9

Stray Bullets is awesome! I've been reading it for about a year now, but it's really much better starting from the beginning and getting to know all the characters properly.

Read 9 comics today and I could've kept going, but I have to meet some friends at an arts festival and then go to the bar. -SHARK DIGGLER

As it is, I got two new manga - Bastard 8 and Rurouni Kenshin 16. I read Bastard right away and I'm probably gonna read RK tomorrow morning unless I feel like reading before I go to bed tonight.

Still got the others, I know, but just haven't felt like them yet.

Rurouni Kenshin 16 was good

I didn't care much for 15 though. Thank goodness I got and read 15 and 16 at the same time.

Also got/read Whistle 6 and Eyeshield 2. Nothing that needs reading right now for me.
