Daredevil #74 My Friend Dahmer
Daredevil was excellent, but My friend Dahmer fookin' kicked ass! Highly recommened to anyone who is in the slightest bit interested in the life of Jeffrey Dahmer. -SHARK DIGGLER

Not really Shark, but thanks for the heads up. Greg tried to talk me into a couple of months ago.
Phil - 15 wasn't that bad, just kinda hard to handle all on its own due it being in the middle of everything! 16 was awesome and I so can't frickin wait for 17. I gotta know how it ends - I know Kenshin's gonna try to stops Saito, but I, for one, hope Saito suceeds.

I gotta know how it ends - I know Kenshin's gonna try to stops Saito, but I, for one, hope Saito suceeds. We'll see. Yeah, I can't wait for 17. But damn, we only have a year left of Kenshin manga, so, most of the series was taken up by this Kyoto storyarc! ...not such a bad thing for it to become such an epic, I guess, but I didn't expect that to happen. Ah well. Be interesting to see what the future holds for Kenshin's group after this whole thing is over. 15 was okay on its own merits, and it was actually nice to see the others able to fend for themselves without Kenshin's intervention, but it did kill the flow of the story (and excitement) for me regarding the Kenshin fight with No. 1 and the master of the Juppoganta. Didn't make the battles any less spectacular when they finally came though.

While I'm really excited to read Kenshin monthly, I am looking forward to its conclusion. Then I'll be able to start on something else. As it is, Will thinks that's too long for me to get the whole story, which is why he keeps pushing me to watch more of the anime. But I want to finish reading the Kyoto/Shishio arc before going on in the anime. 'cause after that, the anime shouldn't have much to do with the manga at all. I'm quite interested in comparing the two endings.
I really hope it wraps up next volume. As much as I like all these battles, it sure has taken a while...

July 12th:
Stray Bullets 13-15
This series just keeps on getting better and better! Love Amy Racecar, even though I liked her better as Ginny when she was a kid.
Sarah, you really do need to give Stray Bullets a chance. -SHARK DIGGLER

By the way Barking Shark, do you know what they're planning to do for the 75th issue of Daredevil? Anything special?

Shark - I've seen it around the comic store, but I guess the covers never caught my interest. I'll flip through a copy today.

Shark - I've seen it around the comic store, but I guess the covers never caught my interest. I'll flip through a copy today. You really really really have to start from the beginning with Stray Bullets. When you think you have enough time to read them let me know, I can let you borrow my copies. -SHARK DIGGLER

Borrowing will be a little difficult. If it's something I like then I'll get the trades.

July 14th:
Stray Bullets #20 Books of Magic 1-4 (John Ney Rieber series)
I'm missing Stary Bullets 21-30, so I'll have to wait a little bit to get back into that series.
Decided to start the Books of Magic ongoing, which I'm sure will make Elliot happy. So far so good, excellent start. Tim's the man. -SHARK DIGGLER

You're right there, Shark. BoM is a superb series, and I don't think you'll be disappointed at all

July 15th:
Books of Magic 5-8Loving this series so far. Just bought issues 9-75 on ebay, so I'll get back to reading BoM when I get them in. I never really liked Molly before, but I'm liking Rieber's version of Molly. She just seemed pretty bland to me in Hunter: Age of Magic, and she really hasn't done it for me in the current Books of Magick series. I'm also liking the future version of Tim that keeps showing up. Barbatos seems pretty cool too, kinda reminds me of Gaudium, just not quite as cool. -SHARK DIGGLER

I've been falling behind on my reading again lately so this weekend and next week I hope to start again. (Mostly backissues): The Amazing Spider-Man (Vol.1) #57-61 Judge Dredd #6-7 But I recently bought a huge amount of Marvel and Quality Comics back issues (Boxes full) so all I'm doing is reading all of them. Little by little...

Some of us have way too much on our plates so that we don't have room for reading comics. Sarah & Max, I suppose I see it more like eating out at a restaurant: usually I only buy comics when I have time to read them. I don't let them get "cold" at all. Otherwise I'd be a nervous wreck going through the day wanting to finish up everything I had on my plate just so I can finally get to read my comics.

And I had a similar experience to what you're going through Max and I still finished all the comics in a couple of days. It wasn't easy but I did it. Didn't do much of anything else though

I have about six or seven boxes full that I've got and because I usually can't read more than four in a row I get through them pretty slowly. And like recently, I forgot reading all together!

Shark... Can't wait to hear your thoughts on Tim and his world as you get deeper in and more involved... And yeah - Molly is cool in the original BoM, and hopefully will be in the new series, too When we get to meet the 'real' Molly again
